SASSA Will Take Services to Fernie Community

Tuesday, August 27, 2024

The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently going to the Fernie two Neighborhood Hall in Mpuluzi to render expert services to your community.

SASSA are going to be rendering solutions for example new social grant applications, change of payment method, client care enquiries, as well as the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.

In a statement, the agency reported it truly is alarmed in regards to the high variety of people counting on social grants for survival.
“The intention of your Integrated Registration Outreach Programme [ICROP] is to reach-out to your superior number of clients/beneficiaries to access SASSA services.

“This can be due to the lack of infrastructure at Fernie and there is no entirely functional office committed to service the area every day. The support place produced for intervention experiences a superior influx of potential beneficiaries, which makes it complicated with the office to attend to all people who visit a service point.

“In this reach-out programme, SASSA will mobilise a lot more methods to enable the servicing of all prospects and maximize usage of Social Assistance services,” the agency said.
